Initiatives
MEET INDIA FOUNDATION is committed to work with a focused agenda of social upliftment by providing educational, medical and social help to the needy irrespective of their caste/creed/religion. The Trust runs FIVE PROGRAMS to fulfil this agenda namely: VIDYA DAKSHNA, AROGYAM, SWANIRBHAR, PARIVARTAN PUSTAKALAYA, ANNAPURNA
VIDYA DAKSHNA (Education support)
VIDYA DAKSHNA is the flagship program to support Education. The program aims to extend financial support to students hailing from underprivileged backgrounds to help them pursue their education. These initiatives encompass a wide spectrum of educational levels, ranging from primary and secondary schooling to higher education, including graduation, post-graduation, and vocational courses.
Our commitment to equity and fairness is underscored by a due-diligence process meticulously implemented to select only the most deserving candidates ensuring judicious use of the resources.
Over the last five and half years, MEET supported over five thousand students including many students who completed higher education and carved successful career thus supporting their families.
AROGYAM (Medical support)
AROGYAM initiative is aimed at providing MEDICAL support. Through the AROGYAM project, we extend assistance to economically disadvantaged members of society requiring medical care. This assistance takes various forms, including direct support and referrals to hospitals or medical centers offering treatment and medications at subsidized rates.
Over the last five and half years, MEET supported over Two thousand patients thus helped them recover and live a normal life.

SWANIRBHAR is a unique initiative to help people become self-reliant and earn a livelihood for their family. Within the framework of this innovative and transformative project, we fervently advocate for the empowerment of individuals to embark on the journey of entrepreneurship. There have been fulfilling success stories such as helping people in need of work to set up fruit vending stalls, pursue vocations such as tailoring ventures, beautician services, or venturing into the culinary realm with food stalls, among other avenues.
Over the years, through various cases, we have witnessed first-hand the profound impact of our modest yet meaningful assistance, particularly in the lives of differently abled individuals and widows who have become self-sufficient and are earning livelihood for their families.

The transformative power of literature is at the heart of MEET INDIA FOUNDATION’s mission to foster a culture of reading across all segments of society. As Osho famously said, “A good book can change your life,” and this sentiment resonates deeply with our commitment to knowledge dissemination and personal growth. This dedication finds tangible expression in the establishment of “Parivartan Pustakalaya,” a vibrant book library located in Kandivali, Mumbai.
Housing an extensive collection of over 7,000 titles spanning diverse genres such as literature, biography, spirituality, and health, the library caters not only to readers of Gujarati descent but also offers a rich selection of Hindi and English works. Serving the community for over two decades, “Parivartan Pustakalaya” has become a beloved destination for individuals of all ages, from children to seniors, seeking to immerse themselves in the world of literature.
Gratitude is extended to the Kandivali Education Society (KES) for generously providing the space for our library, which now operates under the auspices of the Gujarati Bhasha Bhavan established by KES.
